How to turn on and customize subtitles

If you want to follow a channel more easily or watch it without sound, you can show subtitles automatically and tailor them to your taste.

Step by step

1. Open Settings and go to the Subtitles section.
2. Always show subtitles. Turn it on so subtitles appear automatically on channels that offer them.
3. Customize readability. Adjust the text size, the color, and enable the black background so they’re easier to read over the picture.
4. Margin from the edge. Change this value to move subtitles up or down so they don’t cover important content.

Tips

• Not every channel broadcasts subtitles: they’ll only show if the source includes them.
• The black background helps a lot when the picture is bright or has lots of motion.
• Inside the player you can also pick the subtitle track available on each channel.
