01 WHAT TV España IS

TV España is a directory and programme guide for free-to-air television, available at no cost on the App Store and Google Play. It brings together in one place the channels that already stream freely over the Internet, with their programme guide (EPG), search, favourites and support for TVs and living-room devices.

It is developed by Insodia, an independent studio. It does not belong to any media group or operator, and has no contractual relationship with the broadcasters whose channels appear in the directory.

02 EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS

This section exists to answer, without anyone having to ask, what usually concerns a broadcaster. It is the same description we send in writing to rights holders who request it.

Links to and plays signals that the broadcaster itself publishes freely and free of charge on the Internet.
For part of the catalogue it opens the broadcaster’s official player, so the user sees their player, their advertising and their terms of use.
Displays the programme guide (EPG) from public programme-data sources.
Removes any channel at its rights holder’s request, the same day and with no further formality.

What the app does NOT do

It does not host, record, transcode or store any audiovisual content on its servers.
It does not insert or replace advertising over any channel’s broadcast.
It shows no advertising at all during playback. Our own ads appear only on listing screens.
No channel is gated behind payment. The optional subscription only removes those ads: it unlocks no channels or content, which is available to all users alike.
It does not alter the signal, remove watermarks or skip the broadcaster’s ad breaks.

05 RIGHTS HOLDERS

If you represent a broadcaster and would prefer your channel not to appear in the app, write to us and we will remove it the same day, with no need for a formal notice or any justification.

We can also change the behaviour so the channel opens directly on your website, outside the app, if that option suits you better.
